Hello and welcome to Kiwis that Fly! 

I was inspired to start this blog as a way to help others learn the ins and outs of traveling and working abroad!

My husband and I ended up spending over 10 years of our lives living outside of New Zealand, mostly in China. We had a blast, got married, had a daughter and got up to all sorts of adventures whilst traveling. 

However we also discovered some interesting facts along the way, who knew there are all sorts of things you need to know but know one tells you as you start on an adventure. Hopefully, this blog will help you prepare for the adventure of a lifetime and save you from making some of the mistake we made and others we witnessed along the way.

Traveling is amazing, and something that every Kiwi needs to do, otherwise you’ll never realise how beautiful and amazing this country of ours is! So safe travels and I hope you enjoy the blog!
